OAK ORCHARD CREEK
FLY FISHING ADVENTURE IV

JOIN THE ANGLERS’ DEN AND FLY FISH THE
PREMIER BROWN TROUT FISHERY IN THE
UNITED STATES


 BROWN TROUT UP TO 20 LBS W/ 5LB TO 10LB
TROUT COMMON. IN ADDTION STEELHEAD ARE IN
ABUNDANCE.
WHEN

Departing the Anglers’ Den shop on Friday, November 11,
2011 at 4 am sharp and returning on Sunday, November 13,
2011. Arriving back at the shop around 8 – 10 pm.

FISHING PLAN

Group meets at the Motel to check in between 10am and 11 am - Check
in and head down to the Oak! Be teased with a few big-gins’.

On Saturday, we will be getting up very early and be on the river
in the dark to get catch first light. First light has historically been
known to be productive.

On Sunday fishing will be "free Fish"  Fish when and where you please.

GEAR

Please obtain a fishing license prior to arriving. Makes
coordination smoother. Note: New York Fishing season October 1, 2011 – To September 30, 2012.

-Fly Rod recommended (7 wt or 8 wt)
-Floating line: with sink tips
-Non leaded split shot
-Flies – contact the Anglers’ Den for Patterns
-Rain Gear / waders (with studded soles – recommended) and
-Cold weather gear (layers)
-Head lamp
-Gloves

Friday Night and Saturday Night

MEALS

The Anglers’ Den will be reserving a restaurant table on Saturday
evening at Tillmans. This is optional please advise if interested.
Visit the Tillmans web site: www.tillmansvillageinn.com for
menu and costs for meals.

All other meals will be on your own. Ask for recommendations
where to munch.

TRAVEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

The Anglers Den will be driving 2 vehicles, which will
accommodate 3 additional people. These seats will be on a first
sign-up basis.

Others planning to travel will need to be coordinated and
arrangements made based on the number of sign-ups and
available drivers.

TRAVEL COSTS:

Travel - It is approximately 370 miles to Albion plus est.
40 miles around town for the weekend. Therefore, the
anticipated cost is $150 round trip. Obviously, the cost
depends on the vehicle and the number of person in each
vehicle. The cost will be split equally.
Tolls: – split equally
Room Rate: $75 per night plus tax for two (2) additional $10
for third person in a room. Three beds in a room. (rates to be
verified)
Meals: - on own excepting - for optional diner with the Den at
Tillmans tab to be divided fairly.

POLICY
Shop coordination charge: $25.00 per person
NOTE: no guide fees or hidden costs.
The Anglers Den is putting this trip together to make the trip
affordable by pooling resources. In addition assisting those who
are new to the Oak Orchard Creek.

NOTE: THE ANGLERS DEN WILL ONLY BE SIGNING UP
(12) PERSONS. SIGN UP IS ON A FIRST COME BASIS. ONLY
THREE ROOMS HAVE BEEN RESERVED.

A DEPOSIT OF $100 WILL BE REQUIRED WITH SIGN UP OF
TRIP: IF CANCELLATION IS 14 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO
THE TRIP DEPARTURE DATE THE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE
RETURNED UNLESS A REPLACEMENT PERSON FOR THE
TRIP IS SIGNED UP.
